PPSC General Instructions & Guidelines
Official Website & Instructions:

Applicants must read the "Important Instructions" regarding fees, written tests, and interviews on the PPSC website (www.ppsc.gop.pk) prior to applying online.

All official schedules, syllabi, and test updates are published exclusively on the PPSC website; candidates are advised to check it regularly.

Eligibility & Qualifications:

Government Employees: Employees of Federal, Semi-Government, Autonomous Federal bodies, or Local Bodies do not qualify for age relaxation based on their service length in those organizations.

Degree Equivalence: Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications must provide an equivalence certificate issued by the HEC or the QEDC of the relevant department at the time of the interview (or when requested). Failure to do so results in application cancellation.

Private Sector Experience: Candidates using experience from private firms must present proof at the interview that the entity was registered with SECP, the Registrar of Firms, or another regulatory authority during their tenure.

In-Service Candidates: Current government/public employees must apply for and obtain an NOC/DPC from their respective departments to present during the interview.

Professional Registration: Where applicable, candidates must possess registration certificates from relevant regulatory bodies (such as PEC, PNC, PMDC/PMC, PVMC, etc.) issued on or before the closing date.

Academic Records: Interview candidates must present marks sheets showing obtained/total marks or percentage certificates issued by a competent authority. CGPA alone is not accepted.

General Rules & Testing:

Information Authenticity: Only information published on the official PPSC website is authentic; third-party information should not be trusted.

Test Location: Shorthand, Typing, and Proficiency Tests are conducted exclusively in Lahore.

Post Variations: If the number of posts increases or decreases, fresh applications will not be invited.
