PAF recruits Airmen in various trades (roles). General eligibility includes:

Basic Eligibility

Nationality: Pakistani citizens.

Gender: Mostly male candidates (females may apply for limited roles like Medical Assistant).

Marital Status: Unmarried (for most Airman posts).

Age: Roughly 15½ – 22/23 years depending on trade (e.g., Aero Trades, Physical Fitness/Drill Instructor, Security). Age cut-offs are as per induction rules.

Education:

Matric Science (Science subjects) is minimum requirement for most Airman roles.

Specific trades might require certain percentages in subjects like English, Physics, Maths, etc.

Height & Fitness: Minimum height and fitness tests required.

Vision: Good eyesight (6/6) for many trades.
